THREE Cape Breton FC players have been selected in the Top 45 in the province to take part in the U13 Boys Team Nova Scotia training program this Fall/Winter.
Dylan Dickson, Abiram Gudimetla and Sam Borden all came through the Top 60 ID Camp process with Soccer Nova Scotia to make the prestigious training project.
The boys, who return to club training this week, are shining lights in the CBFC Academy and have been developed through the U13AA Boys and Prospects programs.
Regional Director of Soccer Development Iain King said: "We are thrilled for all three players to be involved in the SNS program, it's a testimony to their drive to improve as soccer players.
"Dylan and Abiram have already competed in the U13AA Boys League this summer as younger players under the guidance of Head Coach Josh MacKillop who as a former AUS Varsity player has been a guiding light for them.
"Sam is a product of Whitney Pier SC and the club there can be so proud of his rapid progress. He will join Dylan and Abiram in Tier One soccer next summer and their involvement in a best v best environment each month with Team NS will only fuel their desire to get better."
