THE ever-popular CAPERS Academy summer camp weeks get underway next month and places are going fast.
These Academy weeks offer top-class coaching and soccer fun for five days from Monday to Friday on Ness Timmons Field, the home of our nationally-ranked CBU CAPERS Varsity soccer programs.
Regional Director of Soccer Development Iain King, who designs and oversees the delivery of the training for the Academy programs, said: "In the three years since I came to Cape Breton the Academy weeks have become an integral part of the programs.
"This is where we have first worked with so many players who have gone on to become both Academy and Provincial players and they have improved so much alongside their peers.
"More importantly, though, this is where so many friendships and soccer memories have been made in the famous 4 v 4 World Cup Fridays that the kids enjoy so much.
"The Technical Staff love Academy weeks as much as the players and we look forward to welcoming everyone this summer."
