CBFC Player Assessment Session Series for Summer Season 2023

Under 12’s
Soccer Cape Breton would like to announce that the Cape Breton FC Player Assessment Session Series for Summer Season 2023 will kick off next Monday night at Sydney River Elementary School with Session One for our U12s Girls and Boys, who will play in the SCB Under 13 division this upcoming outdoor season
The format of the two-session program, which is OPEN registration, and FREE is as follows:
Session 1: Technical session led by Regional Director of Soccer Iain King assisted by club coaches who work in the program.
Session 2: 5 v 5 tournament
The timings and dates for the U12s sessions are as follows:

U12 GIRLS (1) Monday March 20th 5.30pm - 7pm Sydney River Elementary
U12 GIRLS (2) Monday March 27th 5.30pm - 7pm Sydney River Elementary
U12 BOYS (1) Monday March 20th 7pm - 8:30pm Sydney River Elementary
U12 BOYS (2) Monday March 27th 7pm - 8.30pm Sydney River Elementary
There are exciting developments at this age group with Soccer Nova Scotia now hosting to U12 ID Camp tournaments in April at Acadia University and July at St. FX University.
We will be sending a Team Cape Breton to face the best clubs in the province at these tournaments and this and other issues around this age group will be explained in a Zoom call with Iain on Thursday March 16 at 6pm.
Parents in established programs will be emailed with the link for this meeting and others interested in attending can email Iain on scbtechnical@bellaliant.com to receive an invite.

Boys Under 13
CAPE BRETON FC's U13AA Boys Player Assessment sessions for the summer 2023 season will be held on the following dates:

U13 BOYS (1) Thursday March 23rd 6pm - 7:30pm Etoile de L'Acadie
U13 BOYS (2) Thursday March 30th 6pm - 7:30pm Etoile de L'Acadie
The U13AA Boys will play travel soccer in the Provincial Nova Scotia Soccer League this summer and the open and free sessions are for players born in the years 2010 and 2011.
Girls Under 13’s
CAPE BRETON FC's U13A (will play in the SCB U15 division) Girl Player Assessment sessions for the summer 2023 season will be held on the following dates:

U13 GIRLS (2) Wednesday March 29th 6pm - 7:30pm Mountainview Academy
Under 15’s
CAPE BRETON FC's U15AA (will play in the NSSL) Boys Player Assessment sessions for the summer 2023 season will be held on the following dates:

U15 BOYS (1) Tuesday March 21st 6pm - 7:30pm Etoile de L'Acadie
U15 BOYS (2) Tuesday March 28th 6pm - 7:30pm Etoile de L'Acadie
There will be no player assessments for the Under U15 Girls AAA team as this team has been be already selected and training since last fall to play in the top tier in the province this upcoming summer season.
Under 18’s
CAPE BRETON FC's U18AA (both will play in the NSSL) Boys and Girls Player Assessment sessions for the summer 2023 season will be held on the following dates:
