SEARCH FOR CAPERS U13 TIER ONE PLAYERS FOR 2026 STARTS HERE...

Jul. 30, 2025

CAPERS Academy's U13 Girls and Boys squads have done the island proud in their inaugural season in the Nova Scotia Soccer League's Tier One divisions.

The Girls are riding high in the rankings and have won the right to host the Provincial Play-offs Final Four at Ness Timmons Field from August 29-31.

And that squad provided the majority of the players who recently won both the Premier and Division One titles on the road on Prince Edward Island in the Winsloe Charlottetown Royals tournament.

Meanwhile, the Boys - 75 per cent of whom are 2013 born and back next year - have had a rock-solid debut season and sit mid-table despite often playing teams a year older.

Now Regional Director of Soccer Development Iain King and his Technical Staff are searching for the NEXT generation of players to star for the CAPERS.

Iain explained: "We have our Prospects Camp from August 11-15 and this is open to not only ALL of our current 13s players but any 2013 or 2014 born player from the island who feels they have what it takes to become an Academy player for our training groups in Fall/Winter and then the season proper in 2026.

"We would encourage any interested families to register their player for the Camp as a great starting point for talent identification. Both of our 13s squads have players from throughout our island member clubs where they started their journeys."

CAPERS Academy would like to see as many possible take this opportunity as we look to begin framing the 2026 Academy squads. Don't miss out!
