CAPERS Academy has announced the 2025 Girls Team of the Year after a stellar season for the four female teams competing in the Nova Scotia Soccer League (NSSL).
The U13AA Girls won TWO tournament brackets in the Winsloe Charlottetown Royals Tournament on Prince Edward Island then clinched a Provincial Championships Bronze medal after narrowly missing out on the Final.
CAPERS U15AAA Girls were in a development season with 13 of their 19 players first years in the dual age division and returning next year but they still made play-offs and suffered the heartbreak of losing on penalties to third seeds Suburban FC.
The U17AAA Girls reached the NSSL Cup Final where they suffered a heartbreaking last-gasp 2-1 loss to Suburban before being edged out of the Provincial Final Four on penalties in the semi-final by Inter Halifax.
CAPERS U18AA Girls, with a host of U16 players in their ranks, had an excellent season and again made play-offs finishing fifth in their division.
