CAPE BRETON FC is delighted to offer our new U12/U13 Girls Development Squad program which will run from November 2023 to Easter 2024.

WHO? This program is all ability OPEN REGISTRATION for players born 2011 and 2012, the squad will be capped at 25 players and is on a first come, first served basis. It is aimed at developing players who are NOT currently included in the Cape Breton FC U13AA invite only Academy squads.

WHAT? In line with the Canada Soccer Long Term Player Development (LTPD) pathway, this is a structured training program where the players will develop in a fun and challenging environment.

WHY? This is a program dedicated to developing dedicated players over the winter months and growing their love of the game before they return to Soccer Cape Breton’s local member clubs for the summer season play. The focus is on development but players will also be monitored throughout the Program with an eye towards earning Academy invites should they progress.

WHERE? Our sessions will take place in The Dome at Cape Breton University. This is an indoor artificial turf facility and suitable soccer cleats/shoes should be worn.

WHEN? The U12/U13 Girls Development Squad will have one session per week on the schedule that is displayed below.
