SCB COACHES SET OUT ON SHECANCOACH JOURNEY

THIS week 15 coaches from Soccer Cape Breton will set out on a new journey in the game as part of Canada Soccer’s prestigious Telus SheCANCoach initiative.

The ground-breaking program is aimed at increasing the number of women coaches in the game and the SCB group will kick their learning off by being involved in five online monthly coaching huddles with top class educators and colleagues from all over the country.

Our SheCANCoach squad is: Becky Hanna, Krista Mills, Michelle Macaulay, Michaella Ferguson, Andrea Mahoney, Julia Mombourquette, Ashlyn Tierney, Janelle Tierney, Ayanna MacNeil, Juliana Vickers, Alison Wadden, Alyse Tierney, Mattea MacKinnon, Ella Barry, Ava MacDonald.

Only 20 clubs from across the country have been chosen to be part of this pilot project and Soccer Cape Breton is proud that CBFC is involved in a much-needed program.
