TEAM CB GIRLS READY FOR BIG SNS EVENT
THIS weekend sees 17 gifted soccer girls from across the island represent Team Cape Breton in the Soccer Nova Scotia U12s ID Showcase which will be hosted on home turf at Ness Timmons Field on Saturday and Sunday.
CAPERS Men's Program Head Coach Deano Morley will be back on the field where his side won the USPORTS National title in November of last year.
This time, though, it won't be about becoming Champions of Canada, it's all about Deano giving back to the soccer community and guiding the squad he works with in the Soccer Cape Breton environment each week.
Our squad will play on home soil here before a second Showcase in Bridgewater in July. The Top 60 players in the province will then be selected from a Camp in Halifax in August and whittled down to the group who will represent Team Nova Scotia in the U13 Atlantic Championships in 2025.
