OPEN SESSIONS FOR CBFC U13AA BOYS PROSPECTS LAUNCHED

CAPE BRETON FC has confirmed the Open Sessions for the limited slots available on the U13AA Cape Breton FC Boys Prospects invite only Fall/Winter training squad.

Over the next two weeks interested players who feel they can reach the level to play Tier One Nova Scotia Soccer League (NSSL) travel in the summer of 2025 will be assessed alongside 33 players who have already been selected for the program over the next six months.

Earning a slot on the training squad does NOT guarantee a place in the two U13AA Boys teams who will play 9 v 9 for CBFC in the next campaign.

The full squad of 32 full-time players with eight Affiliates will be selected ahead of March Break 2025. The Open Session process is FREE, all that is asked is that contacts details and any relevant medical details of players are given to SCB Admin Assist Lisa Lavery on admin@soccercapebreton.com.

This will allow the coaches to plan training environments and the scrimmage games accordingly each session. Every player will be given a decision and some personal feedback at the end of the process on Monday September 30.

* PLEASE NOTE: Of the 42 players invited to the Prospects Program 33 are already registered and committed to the Program. Their registration deadline is Thursday September 19, the maximum CBFC will take in this group over the Fall/Winter season is 40 players so at the time of publication seven spots remain.
